A Message from the President
Welcome to the official website of the New Jersey Association of County Tax Boards.
The NJACTB formalized as a 501C(3) charitable organization in 1988 with the mission of providing our members and our professional peers and colleagues with tools necessary to address tax and assessment issues and for their educational development.
The NJACTB website is designed with the County Tax Board (Commissioners, Administrators, and staff) along with the Municipal Tax Assessors and their staff in mind. Here users will find resources such as membership in the organization, current educational opportunities along with past presentations, the NJACTB college scholarship program, available job opportunities within NJ in the assessing fields, and contact information for the various county tax boards.
Those in the NJ assessing community are encouraged to attend the annual education seminar hosted in Cape May, NJ the last week in August. Here one can earn continuing education credits in the field of assessment administration and appraisal.
